hanging around the infamous media district of Sheffield's city center, John and
Ritchie finally found the man who would complete Colorpool's lineup. Liam's dynamic
'out there' personality was recruited immediately as bass winger for this classic
rock three piece. Committed to writing their own material, Colorpool today are
a hardworking, performing pop up book of a band. The buzz, the energy, the total
drive. Colorpool,... spelt as 'tight aggressive, guitar driven, garage rock, with
funky bass lines, and rock steady beats', will grab your attention. Then the melodies
will coax you, and you’ll be humming all week. No oasis statues on stage
this lot, their antics have often befuddled the jaded. Seemingly organized insanity,
chaos and general mayhem, is actually the fine expression of honest 'down to earth'
enthusiasm. A guitarists band, Colorpool clearly relish the thought of adding
their stitch to the tapestry of rock! Think Beatles, Nirvana, Primus, Foo fighters
and your on the right track.
