8 Day's A Week 2004 Festival
2004 saw the first annual Bivouac '8 Days A Week' Music Festival. Permanently to be held on the first Friday of November each year, and continuing till the subsequent Friday.
The idea of this annual event is to showcase the best local bands of that year. All in the same week. 8 gigs in a row, with 4 bands a night. Headline bands will be National or International Touring Bands, as are available. Supports will range from 2 or 3 of the best local outfits that year, as picked by Bivouac. It's a celebration of the work put in by the local music scene.
In 2004 each night's entry Tickets were the usual £5.00, except the Monday show, which was free. We also made available 100 special 'ALL 8 DAY' photo pass tickets at £16.00 each. These were issued on a first call basis.
2004 saw the festival kick off on Bonfire night, 5th November, and overall the 8 days were a success. Some nights being radically more popular than others. But that's life!

- Fri 5th November - ODD MAN OUT (UK), ALL MY LOGIC (UK), THE WHELK ATTACHMENT, PELE

Owned Fest.
2004 saw the second year of this Festival. Mark (DIY) and Mike, both
now ex THRONE, put on their two day festival again this year past. Friday saw
a more mellow side of their collective tastes. While Saturday presented us all
with an onslaught of Hardcore/Screamcore bands.
The 2004
line up was:
Fri
23rd July - Owned Fest - Second Monday, The
Whelk Attachment,
Moths, Death of Love, Strikes
Sat
24th July - Owned Fest -
Gore, Exit Wound, Narcosis,
Bumsnogger,
Throne, Patient Zero, Unhinged, and7escape,
Montana, Stabbed in Autumn, Counteract, Bull vs
Bear, Crib, Phunt
2005's line up? Mark (DIY) tells me that it won't be as extensive, and that means, as exhausting! Thanks Mark.
