4th March 2007 -VIRILE recordings are currently progressing well.

There has been a tremendous positive response from everybody who has heard the new DRIVE BY THEORY recordings, recently recorded at our Studio.

22nd Feb 2007 - Last week The Small Print announced to Steve Hawkins they can't be arsed to put the work in that he feels is necessary to improve their lot. Apparently pissing about in a backwater is all they want. Fine, ...but I'd like my equipment back that I lent you. Been here before, know what's going to happen next.

On a better note, Tom and Seb, ex Catapult, have seen sense and are talking about possibly working with each other again. Hurrah!

Finally, VIRILE have started recording with Steve Hawkins in the studio. Their debut material should be ready within the month.

1st Oct 2006 - The Small Print played their best show to date at the Theatre Royal, Lincoln on Thursday night just gone. After working and rehearsing with Steve Hawkins for the last 4 weeks, everyone commented upon their improvement.

6th Sept 2006 - As promised, here is some exciting news. CRASH DOUBT have decided to move to The Bivouac®.

Matt has decided to transfer all their future shows from The Traveler's Rest to The Duke of Wellington. Crash Doubt will be hosting their own nights in association with The Bivouac @ The Duke of Wellington. These nights will be booked solely by Crash Doubt. Matt has also decided to go completely self-employed, trading as Crash Doubt, but still continuing to be MCD's singer. He will also be working closely with Steve Hawkins and The Bivouac on new expanded Bivouac/I.C.E. Group activities, as well as joint Bivouac and Crash Doubt ventures.

Welcome on board Matt and Crash Doubt Productions.

25th Aug 2006 - Next week we should be able to announce a new development for the Bivouac. We are currently in final talks to develop a new side of the business. It's all potentially very exciting!

24th Aug 2006 - THE SMALL PRINT tonight signed the management contract with Steve Hawkins and The I.C.E. Group. The Contract had, as usual, been checked out and validated by the Band's Music Lawyers before signing. The contract's start date was the 24th Aug 2006. We would like to welcome them on board.

9th June 2006 -Apparently CATAPULT have chosen to terminate their management contract with Steve Hawkins and The I.C.E. Group. No explanation given, just a terse two sentence letter sent through the post. After a year's 'free' recording studio time, constant help and free advice, thinking up their name for them (because they couldn't think of one themselves), equipment lent, gigs organized, accommodation provided, and invaluable explanations of how the music business works, to be treated to a two sentence letter with no warning, and no explanation, beggars belief.

You just can't help some people can you! Needless to say we won't be having anything to do with ignorant time wasters like that. Made your bed, now sleep on it.

7th Feb 2006 - Been in conversation with various A&R folk over the last few weeks. In particular, after having read in Music Week of the Sony/BMG restructuring, we have just learnt that one of their A&R colleagues has just lost his job. We wish Barry Saint all the best in finding a new label home.

22nd Dec 2005 - New life will be injected into the label side of the business early next year. Plans are being developed over the holiday period. Have an excellent break and see you all next year.

Gaz Mackie and The Agents - Link to Label News17th Nov 2005 - Gaz Mackie (MCD), who recently left Access To Music college, is now working full time here at The I.C.E. Group. He will be assisting Steve Hawkins in all areas of the business. He has already successfully got stuck in to the Sound Engineering side, Manufacturing, Research and Development, as well as being responsible for the transport section. He is an asset to the company!

11th Oct 2005 - CATAPULT, hot from their very successful slot supporting THE SUBWAYS, and THE RIFLES at The Drill Hall, are back in the Studio this week. Then they support THE FIGHT at The Bivouac on Friday night (14th).

11th Oct 2005 - RIDES THE BUS have apparently parted company with original member Sam on Bass. We here are particularly sorry this has happened, and we wish Sam all the best in the future. A future replacement has not been currently confirmed.

15th Sept 2005 - CATAPULT have been added to the up and coming SUBWAYS gig at The Drill Hall (Friday 30th September) as the only official local support. Full line up for the night is: THE SUBWAYS, THE RIFLES and CATAPULT. This will be the biggest gig CATAPULT has played to date (playing to a sold out Subways crowd of around 600+).

2nd Sept 2005 -ALL BELOW HAVE MANUALS had two songs broadcast on Nick's BBC Radio Lincolnshire Show tonight. The band were the featured artists on his show, and Nick played 'Tough Guys' and 'New Song.' Both tracks were recorded recently at THE I.C.E. GROUP's Studios.

2nd June 2005 - Colorpool News

Colorpool (Sheffield based) have secured a live Radio Session and Interview on Thursday 9th June with BBC Radio Humberside's Raw Talent Program. The show kicks off at 7pm till 10pm and can be heard at 95.9FM simultaneously on BBC Radio Humberside, Sheffield, York and Leeds, as well as on www.bbc.co.uk/humber. Excellent!

13th May 2005 - We can finally officially announce that the Bivouac Trade Mark has now been fully registered and has taken effect from 23rd September 2004. A very big thanks to our Trade Mark Specialist Lawyers Loven & Co.

4th May 2005 - Skegness and Boston's Catapult last night signed a management contract with key man Steve Hawkins of The I.C.E. Group. The I.C.E. Group now has management contracts with Colorpool, My Deaf Audio, Rides The Bus, Pele, and Catapult. This is going to be a very busy year indeed for all concerned, with the emphasis on writing and recording.

23rd Feb 2005 - My Deaf Audio in Kerrang!
Last week saw MDA get a good enthusiastic review in Kerrang! That only leaves NME and Metal Hammer to come from the initial press we had considered. Big thanks indeed to Gemma Freeman in London, who is the label's Press Officer.

15th Feb 2005 - 2nd play on The Lock Up. 10.10pm, Radio One's Mike Davies plays My Deaf Audio's "Turn Off The World". Many thanks. Nick from the band was well stoked, just as he was extolling to a colleague the merits of his band, on it came on the Radio overhead. Well cool, perfect timing!

7th Feb 2005 - Official release date for My Deaf Audio's "are the new black" EP.

The band's new material, recorded in autumn 2004 at The I.C.E. Group Studios, is a massive step forward. My Deaf Audio have taken the bull by the horns, and let rip the latent rock'n'roll soul that courses through their veins.

Early feedback sounded so promising that the band have undertaken, in conjunction with Bivouac, to release a four track EP. A taster of things to come.

7th Feb 2005 - Kerrang! and Rocksound to review My Deaf Audio EP.
