Bivouac, as a Venue, has been promoting gigs since Friday 2nd June 2000. Since that time, we have been quietly building the venue's facilities and developing a good reputation, nationally, as well as locally. With the regular inclusion of international groups, our reputation travels even further afield. We provide visiting bands, as standard, a decent PA with several on stage monitor mixes, a healthy food and drinks rider, organized soundchecks, tight on-stage timings, and band parking. Bivouac has consistently been recognized as the best 'Live Music' Venue in Lincoln for the last four years.

As the Venue has played host to a number of excellent British bands (both signed and unsigned), a Bivouac record label seemed inevitable.

Over time, Bivouac has developed good relations with all it's 'live music' associates and partners in the industry. The new Bivouac label will further build on that reputation with the public and industry alike. Establishing excellent long term trading relations with the wider 'record industry', the label will promote New Music. It's associated Artists will eventually move on to larger and more established Record Labels.

Current signings, My Deaf Audio, Colorpool and Rides The Bus, all have Management Deals with Steve Hawkins of The I.C.E. Group. A further three bands are currently in discussion with The I.C.E. Group and it's offshoot, Bivouac. Subject to the success of these negotiations, and their studio recordings, a release timetable (with the corresponding catalogue numbers) will be more precisely announced.

Planned releases over 2005 on the new Bivouac label are to be:
