FULL WEEKEND OF SHOWS ANNOUNCED:
Later on Friday, 11th Feb, we are pleased to welcome PSYCHOPATH (from Slovenia), one of Josh (QOTSA) Homme's favourite bands. Our first band from Slovenia. Official support come from Leicester's TEAM. Apparently these guys come highly recommenced.Local supports are the highly entertaining PELE, Sheffield's COLORPOOL, and new blood openers THE MISLED YOUTH.

Feb 2005 - This coming Friday (4th Feb) sees the return of Sparks Lights and Flames from Somerset. They used to be half of Aura Son on Lockjaw Records. Recently releasing a new mini Album, they return for their third show. Official tour support comes from Three Movements, while Sleaford's Soviet Pie and Lincoln's Full Frontal open the night.

30th Jan 2005 - The Bivouac has a great January. Regular audience figures are up to a record high. Looks like being a good year.

ALSO COMING SOON: HOWARDS ALIAS; SPARKS, LIGHTS AND FLAMES and THREE MOVEMENTS; PSYCHOPATH and TEAM.

Friday 28th Jan 2005 - Vincent from Planet of Sound Record Shop has the pleasure of hosting this night with the welcome return of THE LURKERS. Arthur (ex of this Parish) Bassick returns to Lincoln, for what are rarer sightings these days, with one of his Northumberland colleagues and with the return of local lad Dave on guitar duties. Mid country stop over before touring south, this will definitely be a good singalong night. THE ECCENTRICS support, and congratulations on becoming parents. Generation gap...my....Tickets £5.00. Doors 8pm. Old school Guitar Punk!

Saturday 22nd Jan 2005 - Please note: SI CONNELLY from Coventry has had to be postponed till Tuesday 22nd Feb. This will be his first appearance at the Bivouac. I am very pleased to get him to Lincoln this early in his career. He and his band bring to Lincoln their own take on the Indie Guitar scene. Very early Nick Drake meets Radiohead, I'm told. Closer to the Oxford scene, than the current Coventry exports of Montana and Sika Redem.

Headliners are now the excellent ONE WORD POEM, supported by DEPOL, CATAPULT (ex Shakey Spirits), and SONS OF THE SOUTH (ex Black Light On). Tickets £5.00. Doors 8pm.

Friday 21st Jan 2005 - Now this night is my own creation. That is to say, contrary to what a lot of people think, I do listen to what the 'youth' of Lincoln want. NO COMPLY headline this night, and after their last appearance in Lincoln (at PoNaNas), which I missed, I want to see for myself what all the fuss is about. The band have toured the UK relentlessly for two years now, so this should be a good one. Either that, or they are played out. Still, after a nice christmas/new years break, I'm sure they will be on fine form. Local supports come from MCD (Mad Crowd Disease) and FIRIN BLANX, with Hull's FLATLINE making a return appearance. THIS SKA PUNK NIGHT - NOT TO BE MISSED. Tickets £5.00. Doors 8pm.

Friday 14th Jan 2005 -Harry from Eustacia Vye has bagged this night. Headlining are BLACK NIGHT CRASH, with supports from Lincoln's ballad indie rockers EUSTACIA VYE, THE INTENT (from York, I believe), and FOR NO REASON. Indie Rock Night. Tickets £5.00. Doors 8pm.

Friday 7th Jan 2005 -KING LIFTING, from Norwich (and Leeds!), headline, supported by Lincoln's legends at this game STABBED IN AUTUMN. STABBED IN AUTUMN have joined forces with Mark, as he prepares their first proper UK Tour touring with Coventry's MONTANA later in February (see Feb 13th Bivouac). Also on the bill on Friday Jan 7th are INDENIAL (from Dorset), THE MACHINES WILL TAKE OVER (Wakefield) and Lancaster's LEE MALVO. All very fast, thrash and screamo. Tickets £ 4. Doors 8pm.

Jan 2005 - Lincoln's Bivouac to start the New Year with a season of gigs beginning Friday 7th with another DIY Promotions night. Mark (ex Throne Bass Player), as the head honcho of Lincoln's DIY site, has really put a lot of effort into making these hardcore nights work. This type of musical genre is very much for the specialist, but DIY nights still regularly attract a loyal crowd. He is always promoting hardcore bands from around the UK and the 7th of Jan is no exception.
